What emails should I be watching for from Percent/Goodstack?
Percent is currently rebranding to Goodstack, so you might get emails from either one.
When you apply, Percent or Goodstack is going to send you at least one email. Very soon after you apply the email address that you used should get an email asking you to confirm your email address. If you don’t confirm your email within a few days, they’ll reject your application. Percent’s emails almost always go to spam, so keep an eye out there for anything from Percent. Their current email domains are mail.goodstack.org and @poweredbypercent.com
Percent/Goodstack may also scan your church’s website and reach out to an email address they find on there asking if your Google for Nonprofits application is legit, so ask your team to keep an eye on their spam folders and if they see and email from Percent (poweredbypercent.com) or Goodstack (verifications@mail.goodstack.org) to open them and vouch for you. :) Here’s a sample email you can send to your team:
Hey Team!
Just a quick heads up! I applied for Google for Nonprofits for our church today as part of the Church Fuel Grow program. You might receive an email from Google’s partner company, Percent (poweredbypercent.com) or or Goodstack (verifications@mail.goodstack.org), regarding our Google for Nonprofits application. They're scanning our website for contact info and may reach out to an email address they find on there to verify that I’m actually associated with the church.
The verification company's emails typically go to spam, so please keep an eye on your spam folders. If you spot an email from Percent or Goodstack, don't ignore it! Open it up and follow the prompts they provide to verify my association with the church.
If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a message!
