Why Won’t Google Accept my Website URL for the Google Ad Grant?
If you're filling out the Google Ad Grant activation request and it's not accepting the URL you typed in,
here are a couple common culprits:
- You need to enter the website as www.domain.com. If you don’t enter the www., or you add https://, it may not submit properly.
- Your website isn’t secure. Google requires that websites are secure in order to use the Google Ad Grant. If your website is not secure, ask your web developer to add an SSL to the website.
- You don’t own your domain. You can’t run ads to a different domain. For example, you can’t run ads to:
- facebook.com/churchname
- Churchname.snappages.com
- youtube.com/churchname
- You have a typo in your URL.
