What's the Difference between Applying for Google for Nonprofits and Activating the Google Ad Grant?
Google for Nonprofits is Google’s way of confirming that you are a legitimate 501c3 nonprofit. Once that’s approved, then you can unlock the free resources that Google gives to nonprofits - including the Google Ad Grant, which is $10,000/month in advertising dollars! It's possible to have Google for Nonprofits without activating the Google Ad Grant, but if you have the Google Ad Grant then your church must have had Google for Nonprofits at some point.
The process for for applying for Google for Nonprofits is covered in this lesson: https://dashboard.churchfuel.com/lessons/google-for-nonprofits/
Our team likes to take care of activating the Google Grant on your behalf. If you haven't activated it yet you will give the Church Fuel team admin access to your Google for nonprofit account.
