📲 How to Text & Call Customers Inside Church Fuel

A step-by-step tutorial for the team (just in case I get hit by a bus 😅🚌) LOOM HERE

Hey team!!! 👋🎉

I wanted to put this together so you know exactly how to text and call customers inside the software — and so you can confidently take over reaching out to my people in the pipeline anytime 🙌💬

Let’s jump in! 👇🔥

✅ Step 1: Log into Church Fuel

Go ahead and log into the Church Fuel software 💻

In your browser, type in Church Fuel and click into the correct account.

(I’m already in, but that’s how you get there 😉)

✅ Step 2: Click on “Conversations”

Once you’re logged in, head over to Conversations 🗨️

This is where all your texting and calling magic happens ✨

✅ Step 3: Start a New Text Message 💬

To send a text:

Click the blue plus (+) button 🔵
Click “Message Contacts”

From here, you can:

Copy and paste their phone number 📱
Search by email 📧
Or search by name 👤

👉 Pro tip: I honestly recommend searching by email or phone number so you don’t accidentally message the wrong person 😅 We don’t usually have customers with the same names, but if you’re moving fast, it’s easy to slip.

✅ Step 4: Choose SMS & Create the Conversation

Once you find the right person:

Click the dropdown
Select SMS
Click Create Conversation 🎉

If you’ve already messaged them before, the conversation will pop right up (like it did for me since I texted Kyle this morning 😉).

Boom — you’re ready to text! 🙌📲

☎️ Step 5: How to Make a Phone Call

You’ve got two easy ways to call someone inside the software 👇

👉 Option 1: Call from an open conversation

If you’re already texting them and they say,

“Hey, can you give me a call?” ☎️

Just look at the top of the conversation and click the call option up there ⬆️

You can call them instantly from that screen 🙌

👉 Option 2: Call by typing in their number

You can also:

Click the call/phone button ☎️
Type in their phone number
Click to dial (boop boop boop 😄👉📞)

And you’re calling them — easy.

📝 Super Important Final Step

When you’re doing any of this —

texting, calling, working in ActiveCampaign, or touching anything at the account level — make sure you are documenting it 📝✅
