How to Use Done-for-You and Done-With-You Social Posts

You do not have to start from a blank caption box every week. Church Fuel provides done-for-you and done-with-you social posts that are already written, designed, and connected to helpful resources and next steps. This walkthrough shows you how to find them, preview them, customize if needed, and schedule them across your social channels.

Quick Steps
1) Find the Social Media Templates
Log in to the Church Fuel software.
Click Marketing in the left menu.
Open Social Planner.
Click New Post.
Choose Social Media.
You will see a library of templates, including monthly done-for-you and done-with-you posts.
2) Preview the Monthly Posts
Find the month you want to use.
Click Preview to see what is included.
Most sets include:
- Carousel graphics
- Captions connected to an article or resource
- Custom values already filled in for your church
These posts are ready to use, but all text can be edited.
3) Choose and Load a Template
Click Choose on the set you want to use.
The posts will be added to your Social Planner and marked In Review.
Nothing is live yet. Channels and times still need to be selected.
4) Select Channels and Schedule Times
For each post, choose where it will publish:
- Select a single channel, like Facebook
- Or select all connected channels to post everywhere
Choose the date and time for each post.
You can use recommended times or set your own.
Click Schedule Post.
The posts are now staged, but not fully imported.
5) Review and Edit the Posts
Click into each post to review:
- The graphic
- Caption text
- Custom values such as church name, event name, or links
This is where you can:
- Adjust wording so it sounds like your church
- Add additional notes or calls to action
- Choose whether it posts to the feed or as a story
Click Preview to see how it will look on Facebook and Instagram.
6) Remove Any Posts You Do Not Want
If you do not want to use a specific post, click the Delete icon on that post.
It will be removed before anything goes live.
7) Import and Finalize the Schedule
When everything looks right, scroll to the bottom.
Click Schedule, then click Import.
The posts are now fully scheduled and will publish at the selected times.
Notes
- New social templates are added each month and appear alongside your Social Media Guide.
- These posts are designed to move people from social media to a helpful resource, then toward a next step like Plan Your Visit.
- You can always adjust channels or times later from the Social Planner.
