Switch to Church Account in beta.churchfuel.com

Click Settings

Business profile


Under business website, copy the simple url (ie yoururl.com) or use business email and copy everything after @ symbol (they should be the same URL)

Branded Domain: go.[pasted content]

Click Add Domain

Add record manually

Verify Records

Issues: If you get an error message, delete and redo above steps making sure there are no extra spaces. If you still get an error, create a task for Charity in Active Campaign “Subdomain not connecting” If Charity gets an error, she should create a task for JE and add to Stuck Spreadsheet.


On left, Click Domain & URL Redirects

Click Manage

Click Connect

Funnel Website - Connect

Domain: visit.

Connect Manually

Verify Records


If connected, click website

Click New Here

Click Additional Options

404

Proceed to Finish


Active Campaign

Under primary contact on deal, under tags, add beta_subdomain_connected

Mark off task in deal (Trigger - Subdomain Connected)

They will now move to Step 10



Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Look back at the account profile to see any tasks related to Go/Visit not being used and another word in its place (link or churchfuel in place of go; explore in place of visit), DNS Notes, Name Server information as to where their DNS is. Put in their domain name in https://www.nslookup.io/ to see if everything still matches and they haven’t changed their domain or nameserver.
  2. If we have access, go check what was entered for the CNAME records and correct any typos.
  3. If we don’t have access, or the church added CNAME records, reach out to the church to confirm what they added, and if possible get them on a call to look at it together.
  4. If Ministry Designs added it, email their support to confirm what was added.
