⭐️ How to Add Church Fuel As An Administrator To Your Google Analytics Property

⭐ How to Add google@churchfuel.com as an Administrator in Your Google Analytics Property

Whether you just set up a brand-new Google Analytics property or you’ve had it on your website for years, adding us as an administrator follows the exact same steps. Don't worry — it’s super simple and I’ll walk you right through it. 🙌✨ Here is Video Instructions if you'd prefer that!

🔐 Step 1: Log In to the Correct Google Analytics Property

Make sure you’re logged into the Google Analytics account that’s actually installed on your website. Once you're in the right place, you're ready to go!

⚙️ Step 2: Head to the Admin Panel

Look in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.

You’ll see a little gear icon. When you hover over it, it will say Admin.

👉 Click that gear!

🧭 Step 3: Go to Account Access Management

After clicking Admin, you’ll see three columns. In the first column labeled Account, find the tab that says Account Access Management and click it.

This is where all the permission magic happens. ✨

➕ Step 4: Add a New User

In the top right corner, you’ll see a blue plus (+) button.

Click:

➕ → Add users

A box will pop up asking who you want to add.

📧 Step 5: Enter Our Email

In the email field, type:

👉 google@churchfuel.com

Double-check it! Spelling counts here. 😊

🔑 Step 6: Upgrade the Role to Administrator

By default, Google gives new users Viewer access… which is sweet, but not enough for what we need to help you.

So be sure to:

  1. Find the list of roles
  2. Click the circle next to Administrator

This level of access allows us to link your Google Analytics account to your Google Ad Grant and complete the setup for you. 🚀

💙 Step 7: Click “Add”

Once Administrator is selected, head to the top right of the window and hit the blue Add button.

And that’s it — you’ve added us! 🎉

🛡️ Bonus Step: Protect Your Future Self 😇

After adding us, it’s super important to make sure you have multiple administrators on your account — not just you and not just us.

Why? Because if you ever lose access to your email (it happens!), you could get locked out of your Analytics account… and that is NOT a fun time. 😬

So I recommend:

  • Add at least two additional administrators
  • These can be teammates or even other email accounts you personally control

Follow the same steps:

Add Users → enter email → choose Administrator → Add

Your future self will thank you! 🙏💛

🎉 You Did It!

That’s all there is to it. Well done! 🌟
