How to Save a Webpage or Document as a PDF
You can find a video tutorial here but below are the typed out instructions. :)
Step 1: Access the Print Menu 0:00
- Open the webpage or document you want to save as a PDF.
- On a Mac, tap with two fingers on the trackpad to bring up the menu.
- If using a mouse, right-click to access the same menu.
Step 2: Select Print Option 0:10
- From the menu, select the 'Print' option.
- This will open the print dialog box.
Step 3: Choose Save as PDF 0:38
- In the print dialog, look for the 'Destination' section.
- Select 'Save as PDF' or 'Print as PDF' (this option is available on both Mac and PC).
Step 4: Save the PDF 0:55
- After selecting 'Save as PDF', click 'Save'.
- You will be prompted to name the file and choose a location to save it.
- Optionally, you can add tags for easier searching later.
Step 5: Use Keyboard Shortcuts (Optional) 1:07
- For quicker access, use keyboard shortcuts:
- On a Mac, press 'Command + P'.
- On a PC, press 'Control + P'.
- This will bring up the print dialog box directly.
Step 6: Finalize and Save 1:22
- Follow the same steps as before to select 'Save as PDF' and save your document.
