When Applying for Google for Nonprofits, what should I pick from the “Registry name” dropdown box (USA Churches)?

On the Google for Nonprofits application, if you typed your church name into the search box, hit enter, and selected "I can't find my organization" you'll have to fill in your church's information. If you’re located in the USA, select "Internal Revenue Service" from the Registry name drop-down menu. The list is not correctly alphabetized, so you might have to hunt for it.  

Do not select your state. It's unclear why the various state options are included in that dropdown menu but for USA churches Google's partner company, Goodstack (formerly called Percent), will not approve your application if you select anything other than "Internal Revenue Service"
